2011 Nissan Skyline

Often referred to as a supercar without supercar limitations, the GT-R is hands down the best performing sports car under $100k. The 2011 GT-R is fully equipped with a Bilstein® DampTronic™ suspension that can be adjusted to R-Mode, 15-inch Brembo® brakes featuring 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers, and tires that are derived from over 400 evolved front and rear tread-compounds and designs.

Under the driver’s right foot is 485 horsepower turning the car’s carbon-composite driveshaft, delivering power to what Nissan claims is the most advanced all-wheel drive system they’ve ever designed. Gear changing occurs in 0.2 seconds, delivering a relentless push forward.

The 2011 GT-R offers three driving modes: R-Mode, Normal Mode, and Snow Mode. As you may have guessed, Normal Mode is for everyday driving. This mode delivers smooth gear changing, electronic control of damping the suspension system, plus controls brakes and engine output. Snow Mode provides more gentle shifting of gears, an adjusted suspension, and disengages the VDC stability control. R-Mode offers maximum performance, the fastest shift changing, damping the suspension for high-speed cornering, and ultimate performance from the VDC system.

The 2011 model is available in five colors: black, metallic, silver, white, and red. Interior fabric comes in an optional black leather or gray leather, both with synthetic suede.
